Costa Rica’s currency, the interestingly-named ‘Colon’ has fallen against the pound since last year, making it a wallet-friendly time to visit the Latin American country... if you needed an excuse. There are plenty of bucket-list activities to tick off in Turkey too, from taking a dip in the hot springs at Pamukkale to sinking into the mud baths in Dalyan, and exploring ancient ruins like the Temple of Apollo.
