Treasure Beach Art Hotel, An Autograph Collection All Inclusive Resort

This adults-only hotel is set in tropical gardens, with a beachfront plot and a sea-facing pool. The poolside Batik Bar serves drinks and artisan cocktails, and you can get waiter service straight to your sunlounger. As for food, the Tapestry Restaurant is led by award-winning chefs, so you can expect mealtimes to be quite the occasion.

The list of complimentary activities here is a big draw – it includes watersports like water-skiing and paddle-boarding as well as yoga classes in the hotel’s fitness centre. As the hotel name suggests, there are plenty of artistic touches, too – from sip-and-paint parties to a signature Art Crawl Tour that takes you around local galleries and museums. The hotel also lays on things like barbecue buffets, live music and outdoor cinema nights, and buzzy Bridgetown is only 10 minutes away when you fancy heading out-out.

The House, An Autograph Collection All Inclusive Hotel – Adults Only

If you like the sound of Treasure Beach Art Hotel, you’re going to love The House. Another adults-only spot for your shortlist, it’s just a little bit further from Bridgetown – a 15-minute drive – along the same stretch of St James’ glorious coastline.

Highlights here include a sea-view pool, a beachfront spot and a dining scene that’s suitably fancy. The open-air breakfast buffet, for example, has unlimited Champagne refills as well as a choice of made-to-order hot items and colourful platters of fruit. And lunch and dinner are served up in an ocean-view restaurant, with afternoon teas and sunset canapes to tempt you in-between. Extra-special touches include a complimentary jet lag massage when you arrive. And the spa is well worth paying a little extra for – there’s a long list of full-body treatments and massages, many of which use the hotel’s bespoke spa scent.

Waves Resort & Spa, An Autograph Collection All Inclusive Resort

This hotel makes for the perfect relaxing retreat. It’s tucked in palm trees on a white-sand beach, with Caribbean Sea views and some incredible sunsets. Wellness activities here include things like morning walks and yoga sessions on the outdoor pavilion, with a daily ‘Release at Sunset’ ritual to help you unwind.

Speaking of unwinding, you’ll get some complimentary spa treatments included depending on the type of room you’re in and the length of your stay, and you can pay a little extra if you want to book more. Factor in an open-air restaurant overlooking the sea, two pools including one just for adults, and buzzy Bridgetown a 10-minute drive away, and there’s an awful lot to love about this place.
