Is this the best hotel in Tenerife for adults?

Freshly refurbished and perched high on a clifftop with incredible views, this hotel needs to be on your holiday shortlist.
Planning a Tenerife couples’ getaway? Or just craving some child-free time in the sun? Look no further, because we think Bahia Principe Luxury Tenerife might be one of the best adults-only hotels in Tenerife – and we’ve got five really good reasons why.

From its picture-perfect setting on a cliff in Playa Paraiso, to its interiors worthy of a glossy magazine, this property is all set up for a grown-up break. Take a look and see what makes this place stand out – and start planning your own Canary Island escape. Ready to go? Check out all our Tenerife holidays.

1. It’s exclusively for adults aged 16+

As it’s child-free, Bahia Principe Luxury Tenerife has a distinctly grown-up atmosphere – whether you’re soaking in one of the two pools or sipping a drink at the lobby bar. Entertainment here is decidedly low-key, too, with occasional live music providing a relaxing soundtrack.

2. The location is first-rate

Set on a clifftop with panoramic views of the ocean below, and wrapped in nature on all sides, this place certainly ticks the box for incredible scenery. And when you want to get out and explore, the heart of Costa Adeje is a 15-minute drive away and home to Blue-Flag Fanabe Beach.

3. It’s had a full refurb

This place has revealed a top-to-toe new look – and it’s inspired by the island’s geology. Expect lots of natural materials in calming, earthy tones, clever mood lighting and leafy plants that bring the outdoors in. The results look like something from a design mag.

4. The rooms have relaxation written all over them

Like the rest of the interiors, the bedrooms are designed to inspire calm – and each one comes with a balcony or terrace to relax on. Plus, if you’re pushing the boat out you can upgrade to one of The Club rooms, which come with access to an exclusive infinity pool with amazing views.

5. It’s All Inclusive… if you want it to be

You can choose from half-board and All Inclusive options when you stay here, giving you total flexibility. Plump for All Inclusive and you’ve got free rein of the hotel’s bars and restaurants – with daily international spreads served up at the Badana buffet, and one splash-out à la carte meal – either at the steakhouse or Canarian restaurant – included as part of a seven-night stay.
