Flying with other airlines

When you’re choosing a holiday, we know how important it is to have plenty of options when it comes to things like destinations and travel times. That’s why we package up holidays with airlines we trust as well as our own award-winning TUI Airways fleet. It means we can give you even more holiday options.

All the partner airlines we use have met the same rigorous international safety standards as TUI Airways, and you’ll get TUI’s usual high standard of service and support. We’ll make sure that if a transfer is included, your transfer will meet you on arrival. And if you need us while you’re away, you can message us 24/7 through the app or by calling +4420 38 303 111 – just bear in mind that calls from abroad will be charged at international rates.

Of course, if for any reason your flight is changed significantly by the airline or you experience disruption, we’ll help you sort things out, and find you an alternative flight if needs be.

To find out more about what you can expect on your flight and how to manage things like seating, luggage and check-in, please see our airline partner details below. If your airline is not included here, please see our section on ‘Managing your flight with another airline’ below.

Managing your flight with another airline

If you're flying with another airline that’s not listed above, you’ll need to go to the airline’s website or download the airline’s app to submit passport information, check in, download boarding passes or make seat* and luggage selections.

To log in to the airline website, you’ll be asked for your flight reference number, which is different to your TUI booking reference. Your flight reference number will be a six-digit code (seven-digits for easyJet flights) and can be found on your booking confirmation, e-ticket or in Manage my Booking on the TUI website. For Turkish Airlines, you’ll need your ticket number to access Manage Your Booking on their website.

*Please note, some airlines only let you choose your seat once you've paid in full, or when your flights have been ticketed and you've checked in. If you want to upgrade your seat before this, please give us a call so we can take a final payment and ticket your booking.

If you want to amend or cancel your holiday booking, you can contact us on 0203 451 2688 and select the option for your airline.

Disruption

If, for any reason your flight is changed significantly by the airline before the day of travel, we’ll notify you and work with them to find a suitable alternative. If no alternatives are available, you’re entitled to a refund.

If your flight’s cancelled within 24 hours of travel, the airline will look for an alternative flight for you – you can usually accept this through Manage Bookings on the airline’s website, if this is acceptable to you. Alternatively, we’ll look for a suitable alternative on TUI Airways. If no alternatives are available, you’re entitled to a refund.

If your flight’s delayed, depending on the length of the delay, the airline will provide refreshment vouchers for you to use at the airport. If the delay is to your outbound flight, we’ll automatically rearrange any transfers that are included in your package holiday and notify your hotel of your expected arrival time.
