Family cruises

With facilities like kids’ clubs and children’s menus, it’s easy to get the whole family onboard.

What to expect on a family-friendly Marella cruise

We’ve nailed every last detail when it comes to cruising as a family. From kids’ clubs and child-friendly activities to buffet spreads that will satisfy even the fussiest of eaters, there’s something to keep the whole clan happy. We offer special prices for infants under 2, and there’s no need to pay a cabin supplement for children.

Kids’ clubs

Little ones can join in with daily sessions at M Club – our free onboard kids’ club. Activities are tailored to suit kids aged between 3 and 11 – think arts and crafts, quizzes and mini discos. There are parent-accompanied sessions for under 3s at the Mini M Club, and teens can chill at The Hideout.

Family-friendly facilities

Our family-friendly ships are well versed in keeping kids and adults entertained around the clock, with escape rooms, climbing walls, minigolf courses and indoor-and-outdoor cinemas on offer. You’ll also find handy facilities like baby changing rooms and food preparation areas. Just so you know, things can vary throughout the fleet, so we recommend checking what’s onboard your chosen ship before you book.

Kids’ dining

Dining onboard doesn’t have to be a formal affair. Our buffet restaurants have a huge choice of dishes for a relaxed family get-together, and for children, there are favourites like pasta and fries on the kids' menu – not forgetting ice-cream cones for pudding. Children’s menus are also on offer in all restaurants, and highchairs are available on request.

Entertainment for all ages

Come evening, little ones can enjoy kid-friendly entertainment like M Crew Live kids’ shows, all-singing all-dancing productions, and mini interactive pop concert-style shows on some ships. You can also play family board games in The Coffee Port, catch a movie under the stars, or put your family’s problem-solving skills to the test in Breakout Challenge – Siren’s Spell on Marella Discovery.

Family days out

Our range of shore excursions have family days sorted when you’re in port. The line-up includes everything from waterpark visits and beach trips to mountain biking tours. Transfers are included with most shore excursions – for more information please visit the Marella Cruise Control website.

Roomy cabins

All of our cabins come with either fold-down beds or a sofa bed for extra sleeping space. Plus, we have special family cabins which can sleep up to seven people across different living spaces.
