TUI
We have a range of aircraft in the fleet ranging from the Boeing 737 to the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
Making our fleet as fuel-efficient as possible is something we’re constantly working on and we were named Most Environmentally & Socially Responsible Airline (2006-2010) at the British Travel Awards. The more efficient 787 Dreamliners have also helped us reach new targets to reduce emissions. This revolutionary plane uses 20% less fuel than today’s mid-sized commercial aircraft and new technology means it generates up to 60% less noise during take-off and landing.

Efficient Flying
While standard planes are metal, the Dreamliner is made of something called composite – a combination of different materials. It means it’s stronger, lighter and more aerodynamic. Thanks to its composite structure and revolutionary engines, the plane is more fuel-efficient and emits less CO2 – about 20 per cent less carbon on a flight from Britain to America. The Dreamliner will generate 60 per cent less noise than standard planes during take-off and landing. It’ll be quieter in the air, too.
