Is this the best All Inclusive hotel in Jamaica?

We’ve got five reasons why it might just be, so read on if you’re planning a Caribbean getaway.
If you’re browsing hotels in Jamaica, chances are you’re looking for somewhere beachfront, with a great pool scene, a first-rate location, and that all-important All Inclusive set-up. Enter Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach, which ticks all those boxes – and then some.

This crescent-shaped property fronts a white-sand strip in Montego Bay, and the scenery is as classically Caribbean as it gets. And the oceanside location is just one of many reasons why we think it deserves a spot on your Jamaica holiday shortlist. Read on for more – and see if you can add any more to the list…

1. The postcard-worthy setting

Yes, we know we mentioned location already, but it’s so good we’re giving it a double mention. Not only does Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach have a spot on its namesake sandy scoop, but it’s private – meaning it’s just you and the other lucky hotel guests that get to enjoy this particular palm-speckled stretch of sand.

2. The standout pool scene

When you’re blessed with a beachfront location like this one, it makes sense to make the most of it – and the big, sea-facing, lagoon-style pool certainly does. You get sea views from wherever you’re swimming, and a smart terrace dotted with loungers and palms is all that’s between you and an ocean dip. There’s a bar out here, too, when you want to swap dipping for sipping.

3. The sea-facing rooms

Did we mention that sea views are a big thing here? Because it’s not just the pool that faces the ocean – all the bedrooms have sea views, too, so you don’t need to book an upgrade to enjoy an incredible scene from your window. Plus, all the rooms come with a balcony or terrace, so you can sit out and make the most of it.

4. The All Inclusive set-up

Food and drink is part of the package here, and Jamrock restaurant is the place to go to town on big buffet spreads. A mix of Jamaican classics and international favourites are served up alongside – you guessed it – some seriously good sea views. There’s also a Mediterranean à la carte restaurant, Oliva, which does a great line in seafood.

5. The extra touches

From kayaking and canoeing by day, to reggae nights and Jamaican music in the lobby bar by night, there’s lots going on at this hotel – and the centre of Montego Bay is only a 10-minute drive if you want to head out. Plus, because this place shares a list of facilities with its sister hotel, Royal Decameron Montego Beach, you’ve got even more in the way of things to do just a few minutes’ walk away.
