Top 5 postcard-perfect holiday destinations

Send a slice of paradise home from these dream holiday destinations.
We’ve heard the ‘Pen Pal’ trend is bringing handwritten post back – and honestly, it’s got us thinking about the kind of holiday moments that deserve to be put on a postcard. From sunrise swims in Ibiza and Greece to waterslide races in Turkey and Tunisia, our flagship TUI BLUE getaways come with plenty of moments worth writing home about – literally, in this case. So, to celebrate 10 years of creating unforgettable memories, selected resorts will have postcards waiting at their BLUE® Guide desk this summer, ready for your own scribbled holiday updates.*

If all this chat’s got you eyeing up a summer escape, skip straight to our best deals or keep scrolling to uncover the five TUI BLUE stays bringing back postcards like it’s the early 2000s.

Ibiza, Spain

The postcard shot here? Probably Cala Tarida’s white sand and electric-blue sea, with the sun starting to dip behind the cliffs. It’s a side of Ibiza that feels far removed from the island’s party rep – and TUI BLUE Tarida Beach leans right into that mood. Flip the postcard over and the details get a lot more specific – little ones splitting their time between the kids’ club scavenger hunts and arts & crafts sessions, while you snag a daybed by the adults-only pool and briefly become one of those people who finishes an actual book on holiday. Somewhere underneath the sun doodles and “best holiday EVER” comment, there’d be notes about splash park fun, post-pool ice-cream chats and mini-disco moves that “definitely” weren’t learnt at home.

Zante, Greece

If there was ever a destination made for postcards, it’s Zante. The water looks filtered IRL, the sunsets go full golden-hour mode and the little boats in the harbour look suspiciously camera-ready at all times. The adults-only TUI BLUE Zante Maris, in Tsilivi, keeps that same aesthetic going – from the sea-view pool lined with padded sunbeds to the kind of swim-up rooms where your morning commute is two steps and a splash. Expect at least half the postcard to be dedicated to the food alone – updates on the beachfront lunches at the Culinarium, detailed rankings of the buffet theme nights and a suspicious number of references to pastries and iced coffees from the patisserie corner.

If Tsilivi’s on your holiday mood board, bag a deal and make it official this summer.

Hammamet, Tunisia

On the front of the postcard: Hammamet looking like the sort of destination that ends up framed on the fridge – think talc-soft sand, bright-blue sea and a medina full of rugs, spices and things you didn’t plan on buying. Then on the back? A detailed recap of the waterslide victories at TUI BLUE Manar, which of the four pools became the family headquarters by day two and the proud announcement that someone’s “basically a professional swimmer” after graduating from Swim School^. Somewhere near the bottom, there’d be a note about the kids absolutely losing it when 2E-3000 – TUI BLUE’s resident robot friend – rolled out for the evening show.

Halkidiki, Greece

Halkidiki feels like Greece’s quieter, harder-to-gatekeep corner – all Blue Flag beaches, glass-clear Aegean views and the kind of scenery that looks like someone’s already added the filter for you. The adults-only TUI BLUE Lagoon Palace, in Kalives, fits right into that picture, with palm trees framing the pool, a beachfront setting and private pool suites that make leaving your terrace feel increasingly optional. By the time the postcard pen comes out, the holiday updates probably include, “the Greek night at the buffet was unreal”, “we’re emotionally attached to the sea-view restaurant” and “we’ve signed up for a cooking class – expect at least one overly ambitious dinner party when we’re home”.

If Greece’s quieter side is sounding very tempting right now, check out our deals.

Kusadasi, Turkey

Kusadasi’s postcard would probably need two sides to fit everything in – one for the ancient ruins, cobbled streets and spice-scented bazaars, the other for beach days and lively marina nights. TUI BLUE Ephesus keeps that same all-action energy going, thanks to the huge waterpark right next door that’s free to use. By the time everyone’s added their updates – favourite slides, lazy river moments and dramatic retellings of the corkscrew flumes – there’d barely be room left for “weather’s lovely”. And just when you think the postcard’s full, someone’s squeezing in another kids’ club update (because apparently the afternoon football tournament deserves equal space to the waterpark highlights).

If your ideal holiday includes ancient ruins and corkscrew flumes, check out our Turkey deals.
