Best time to go to New York
New York’s weather changes from season to season. Spring and autumn are arguably the best times to visit, when it’s not too hot or too cold. Temperatures hover in the mid-teens and early 20s from April to May and September to October – perfect if you fancy strolling from sight to sight. Things heat up in summer to a toasty 30°C, but the humidity can make it feel even hotter. In winter, meanwhile, it’s real hat and scarf weather, and the possibility of snow only adds to the festive feel.
