I'm flying with Aer Lingus, how do I manage my booking?
For more information on your Aer Lingus flight, please check your booking confirmation email. This is where you’ll find information on how to check in, your luggage allowance, and other details for your flight.
To help identify if you are flying with Aer Lingus, you will see your flight number will start with EI and this can be found on your booking confirmation.
Travelling with children
If you are travelling with an infant a fully collapsible buggy/stroller is allowed free of charge, plus one of the following items: car seat, booster seat or travel cot.
The buggy/stroller is checked in with the baggage and can be handed down at the gate if required. If the buggy/stroller is handed in at the boarding gate it can be collected at the applicable collection point at your destination.
The collection points for a buggy/stroller will differ by destination. Due to safety requirements and restrictions at some airports, it is not always possible to collect buggies/strollers at the aircraft door. Aer Lingus crew will be happy to direct you if you are unsure where your collection point is.
If the buggy/stroller is checked in at a check-in desk it will only be available on the baggage belt at your final destination. If you are connecting through Dublin airport, you may prefer to bring a baby sling or toddler safety harness with you for convenience while transferring through Dublin.
If your buggy, stroller or other child equipment doesn't arrive on the belt at your destination, please let Aer Lingus know by reporting your baggage as delayed.
For infant bookings (children under 2 years), all carry-on baggage must be included in the accompanying adult's baggage allowance and can be brought onto the aircraft. For checked bags the allowance is 10kg/22lb.
For children aged 2-12, the carry-on baggage allowance is the same as for adults. For checked bags the allowance is the same as for adults.
Standard seat pitch on Aer Lingus is 28 inches.
