Flying with our partner airlines

What do I do if my bags are damaged or lost while flying with another airline?

We’re really sorry if your bag has been lost or damaged during your journey – we know how frustrating that can be.

If your bag has been damaged, please report it at the baggage reclaim area before leaving the airport, and if you can, take a few photos of the damage on your phone.

Whether your bag is lost or damaged, it’s important to request a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) at the airport’s baggage information desk. This helps the airline trace your bag or begin processing your claim. You may also need to register your claim on the airline’s website as well and you’ll usually be able to upload photos and provide more details online. You may also be able to track your bags once they have been located.

Just a heads-up: Claims should normally be made within seven days of your return flight.
