    Once upon a time, Paphos had a Medieval fort. Paphos Castle is the last remnant of it — you can clamber up to the roof for widescreen views over the Mediterranean Sea.

    Take in the Tombs of the Kings

    The Tombs of the Kings is a UNESCO World Heritage Site piled high with Neolithic ruins. Despite the moniker, the tombs didn’t actually host the bodies of royals. Nevertheless, deceased locals were treated to an impressive set of grand chambers, open atriums and pillars.
