Weddings in Italy

Choose from castles, villas, museums and more for your nuptials.

Traditional to a T

From the Amalfi Coast and Sorrento to Lake Garda, Italy has some of the most scenic spots you’ll find for your big day. Whether you've dreamed about having the Mediterranean glistening behind you or the imposing Mount Vesuvius for a backdrop, there’s plenty of variety when it comes to locations here.

And when it comes to venues, you can choose from the likes of historic museums, ancient castles and centuries-old cloisters.

Amalfi Coast

When it comes to your wedding day the Amalfi Coast has got things more than covered in the looks department. It sweeps its way along Italy’s south coast and comes dotted with pint-sized beaches, pastel-coloured buildings and lemon-grove-clad cliffs. Venue-wise, you can choose between cutesy town halls or coastal villas.

Sorrento

Sorrento's a postcard-perfect town on the southwest coast of Italy, overlooking the Bay of Naples. Your wedding day here could be set on a romantic sea-view terrace, in a fairy tale-esque courtyard or in a villa with sweeping gardens. The town’s got bags of Italian charm – think pretty piazzas and winding cobbled streets – so you can bank on top-tier wedding photos.

Lake Garda

Lake Garda’s a setting that’s wedding-album ready. We're talking dramatic mountains, lakefront vistas and vineyard-peppered hillsides. It rises to the occasion when it comes to venues, too. Say “I do” to Italy’s largest lake and you could be tying the knot in a fragrant lemon grove, romantic castle or grand palazzo.
