Weddings in Ibiza

Love is in the stars in Ibiza. The island’s original settlers believed the sun and the moon were a couple watching over them. So what better place to show the love and tie the knot?  

You might know Ibiza for its party scene, but it’s so much more than bars and clubs. Away from the main drag you’ll find ice-white sands and sugar-cube shaped villages – that’s where the ‘White Isle’ nickname comes from – and weddings here tend to follow the same minimal colour scheme.  

There are some iconic monuments that could make the perfect backdrop for some your wedding snaps – like ‘Time and Space’, the Ibizan Stonehenge that’s perched on a cliffside. And the resorts here blend into sandy coves and long, pale beaches, so you can have your seaside ceremony then stroll back to get the party started. 

Just a bit of housekeeping – any ceremony not in a church here will be a blessing, so you’ll need to get legally married back in Blighty before or after the big day. But Ibiza takes the crown for the biggest, boldest sundowners of the Balearics. Perfect for Champagne toasts and pics of the happy couple.
