Spring Hotel Vulcano

Want to be near the action in Playa de las Americas but far away enough to relax? Cue a stay at Spring Hotel Vulcano. This place is a few minutes’ walk from the beach and buzz of the resort, but it’s tucked away when it’s time to switch off. The hotel’s showing off a recent facelift, with cool interiors and a lush tropical vibe giving it one of the best looks this side of the island. The pool scene’s top of its game, too – think comfy loungers, cocktails and chilled-out energy. Oh, and one of its huge pools is heated in winter, so you’re sorted for swims when you’re steering clear of the cold back home. A pair of infinity pools are on hand for adults to relax, too. Hungry? Head to the restaurant at brunch for pancakes, avocado on toast and all the buffet classics. A la carte dining is on the cards from the poolside bar, which serves up dishes with a twist – hello, cheese balls with mango curry sauce. After dinner, visit the botanical garden to watch a live acoustic set, or listen to the resident DJ who sets the soundtrack to the perfect sunset.

Spring Hotel Bitacora - All Inclusive

This family favourite is in the buzzing resort of Playa de las Americas. Here, you’ll find six sandy beaches, tapas restaurants and Siam Park waterpark. Plus, the hotel’s only around an hour's drive from Mount Teide National Park – home to the world’s third largest volcano. Cool right? It’s got top children’s facilities like an adventure playground with a climbing wall and a zip-line. Plus, there’s a waterpark with big slides and a kid’s pool with a smaller slide. The fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down either… we’re talking family-friendly discos and movie nights. And when it comes to food and drink, even the pickiest of eaters are catered to. You can tuck in to everything from pizzas and burgers to roast dinners and Spanish staples here.

Spring Arona Gran Hotel & Spa

This adults-only gem is nestled into the cliffside in Los Cristianos. Every room here comes with ocean views – either full or limited – so you can wake up to vistas of the sea. The blue views continue with the two pools. One of the pools is heated in winter and both are dotted with comfy sun loungers and parasols. The best bit? The waiter-call buttons mean you don’t have to leave your lounger for a drink. Hello, full relaxation mode. And when you finally want to stretch your legs, there’s plenty to do – from aquafit to wine tasting. The food here’s a real treat, too. At dinner, you can expect juicy steak, fresh prawns and local specialities at the buffet. Or you can try the à la carte restaurant. At lunch, there’s a tasting menu, tapas and show cooking.
