Best time to go to Barcelona
Barcelona has a Mediterranean climate with a twist. It has the usual hot summers and mild winters, hitting average temperatures of 28°C in June and July, and never really dropping below 5°C between December and February. However, westerly winds from the Atlantic mean it’s cooler and gets more rain than Spain’s southern coast. The city is at its busiest in the summer months, but there’s so much to do here that, as long as you’re willing to pack your coat, there’s no bad time to visit.
