Help CentreLuxury holidays to Portugal
Our luxury breaks to Portugal and Madeira make a beeline to some of the best beaches, golf courses and spa hotels in Europe.
Beach life in the Algarve
There are lots of resorts to choose from when booking a luxury escape to Portugal. If it’s dramatic, pristine beaches you’re after, go for the Algarve. You can spend a few nights in a clifftop villa or deluxe golf hotel here. Albufeira is the biggest beach resort, while Vilamoura revolves around the million-pound marina. Carvoeiro is home to some of our top-rated villas and hotels. Whitewashed villas, a 17th-century fort and seafood restaurants hark back to the resort’s fishing village days.
Atlantic views in Madeira
Madeira is a volcanic island that’s closer to Morocco than Portugal.
It’s known for a few things — its excellent red wine, dramatic Atlantic views and regal hotels. Belmond Reid’s Palace is a top place to stay, thanks to its garden spa and panoramic vistas.
If you’ve got your eye on a luxury holiday to Madeira, have a look at our offering of five-star spa, golf and beach hotels. We’ve also cherry-picked a selection of stylish villas.
