Italy has an endless offering of family-friendly activities. If you’re near Naples, travel up to Mount Vesuvius. The volcano is famous for destroying the city of Pompeii in 79 AD, but it’s pretty quiet these days. Plus, the hike to the summit takes in some spectacular views.
