TUI BLUE Orquídea, Gran Canaria

Gran Canaria’s TUI BLUE Orquídea comes with the Family Fun highlight, so you can expect perks perfect for families. Adults can take some me-time around the pool while little ones are kept busy at the TUI Kids’ Club – it’s led by a team trained to UK standards, so you can relax knowing they’re in safe hands. When your little one isn’t busy making new pals, they can whizz down slides at the splash park or practice their paddle at our Swim School. There are separate sessions for kids of all abilities, whether they’re new to the water or ditched their armbands a long time ago. Just so you know, this is available during selected periods, and you can choose from free and payable options. The main restaurant’s set up with families in mind, too – there’s a separate section for kids to pick what’s on their plate, and the chefs are on hand to help if anybody has an allergy. Fancy exploring? No problem. The hotel’s set on a beach lined by a pushchair-friendly promenade, which takes you to a selection of shops, bars and restaurants.

TUI BLUE Atlantic Hills, Tenerife

Searching for somewhere new to stay in Tenerife? Meet the adults-only TUI BLUE Atlantic Hills in Tenerife. This hotel is in Puerto de la Cruz, on the island’s north coast. You can forget the tourist towns the island’s probably most famous for, Puerto de la Cruz offers a taste of traditional Tenerife. Cue plenty of green countryside filled with olive groves, cute tavernas run by families for decades and volcanic black-sand beaches perfect for sunbathing sessions. When you’re not exploring, you can relax around one of the hotel’s two pools – you’ll bag a third spot if you’re staying in a Club Double Room – or take part in games led by your BLUE® Guides. Game of French boules, anyone? A pair of restaurants completes the dining line-up. At the main place, you can dine al fresco on a terrace and there’s also an à la carte with a mix of Mediterranean and international dishes on the menu. The best bit? A visit is included as part of your Half Board package, all you need to do is make a reservation.

TUI MAGIC LIFE Fuerteventura, Fuerteventura

If you’re looking for an All Inclusive hotel with everything in one place, look no further than TUI MAGIC LIFE Fuerteventura. This huge club spreads out along the coastline in Jandia. Its main pool tags on a bar where you can sip cocktails while soaking up sea views, and there are separate pools for families and activities like water polo. Pssst. You’ll bag a fourth with an infinity edge if you’re staying in an adults-only private lodge. Little ones have a hotel-run kids’ club and there are separate sessions for teens to get involved with sports tournaments and archery. Our favourite part of this hotel is the All Inclusive tag, though – food and drinks are on tap 24 hours a day, perfect for a late-night snack after the silent disco has finished. Before that, though, you’ve got five restaurants to choose from for your evening meal, including a big buffet place that serves international dishes. But if you ask us, a plate of pasta from Trattoria has to be on the agenda during your stay here. It’s 10/10 tasty.

TUI SUNEO El Trebol, Lanzarote

TUI SUNEO El Trebol is a winner for a great-value getaway to Lanzarote. All Inclusive comes as standard here, so you can save your Euros to explore the island’s best bits. *Pens in a trip to Timanfaya National Park.* When you’re back at base, you’ve got a pair of pools to lounge around and there’s also a splash park to keep little kids entertained. The buffet restaurant takes care of mealtimes, and there are different plates to tuck in to every night of the week – there’s a different theme each evening, with everything from Mexican to Moroccan dishes on the agenda. If you fancy heading out, you can stroll to Costa Teguise’s trio of beaches and bumper selection of bars and restaurants in 15 minutes.

La Palma Princess, La Palma

The last hotel on our line-up is the five-star La Palma Princess. Tucked into a quiet corner of the lesser-known island of La Palma, this place is perfect for a peaceful break. There’s a different pool for every day of the week, including spots with sea views and an indoor thermal circuit pool at the adults-only spa. The main restaurant offers a different theme each night, and if you fancy treating yourself, you can also pay a little extra to eat in La Tasca, which offers a Spanish or Canarian tasting menu. After dark, you can head to Ocean Bar for a pre-show cocktail before watching a show at the main stage which usually kicks off with a mini disco. If you’re travelling without kids, the Esencia de La Palma Princess is a perfect pick. It’s part of the La Palma Princess resort and as well as all the facilities at the main hotel, you’ll bag extras including another four pools and an international buffet restaurant.
