Nature at Parque Natural de Jandia

Parque de Jandia national park encompasses most of Fuerteventura’s south-east peninsula. The park’s biodiversity is pretty impressive, with rare Egyptian vultures, kestrels and wild lizards among the animals that call it home. The staggering volcanic landscape means panoramic mountain views are easy to come by, and if you fancy a hike, you can trek to the 807-metre summit of Pico de la Zarza, which sits near the centre of it all.
