TOP THINGS FOR ADULTS TO DO IN UNIVERSAL ORLANDO RESORT THIS SUMMER...

1. RIDE FLORIDA’S FASTEST AND TALLEST LAUNCH ROLLERCOASTER

Thrill seeker? Make your way to Universal's Islands of Adventure and you’ll find the world’s most cutting-edge rides, shows and attractions across eight exciting themed islands. Pluck up the courage to explore mysterious Kong Island or race up to 65 miles per hour on The Incredible Hulk Coaster® on Marvel Super Hero Island. Plus, there’s a brand-new star on the scene this summer – Jurassic World VelociCoaster, which opened on June 10. Be one of the first to race alongside a pack of Velociraptors on Florida’s fastest and tallest launch rollercoaster.

2. BE A WIZARD FOR A DAY

See your favourite books and films come to life at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ in Universal's Islands of Adventure. Couples can explore famous shops like the Leaky Cauldron™, Weasleys Wizard Wheezes and Ollivanders™ wand shop – and even take a journey down Knockturn Alley. Plus, ride the Hogwarts™ Express over to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ – Hogsmeade™ and join Hagrid™ as you hurtle across the Hogwarts™ grounds and into the Forbidden Forest and on the thrilling Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure™ ride.

3. KICK BACK WITH A COCKTAIL ON THE BEACH

After a bit of R&R on your Universal Orlando Resort break? Head to Universal’s Volcano Bay. Although this tropical water theme park is packed with rip-roaring flumes and racing slides, it’s got a quieter side, too. So, when you both need a break from all the action, you can float gently down one of the lazy rivers. Or, pick up a cocktail and kick back on the sandy, palm tree-dotted beach, which sits beside a towering 200-foot faux volcano.

4. WATCH AN IMPRESSIVE STUNT SHOW

Forget what you know about stunt shows, The Bourne Stuntacular – which opened last summer at Universal Studios Florida – is on a whole new level. During this edge-of-your-seat show, you’ll follow Jason Bourne across three continents as sinister characters pursue him. Watch him dangle from a helicopter in Dubai, be chased across rooftops in Tangier and be pursued on his motorcycle through Virginia.

5. ENJOY FINE DINING AND AFTER-DARK ENTERTAINMENT

For a romantic dinner for two or a fun evening out with friends, Universal CityWalk is your go-to. This waterfront entertainment complex is packed with restaurants, bars and shops. Reserve your spot at one of Orlando’s finest dining venues, such as the VIVO Italian Kitchen™ and pair classic pizza or pasta with a glass of traditional wine. Or, choose Pat O'Brien's® with its live piano music and a menu of Cajun specialities, such as crawfish and jambalaya.
