Do I need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA)?
The Electronic Travel Authorisation (known as ETA) is required for any non-visa travellers to enter the UK. Visit GOV.UK to find out if this applies to you.
From 2nd April 2025 it’s obligatory for EU nationals traveling to the UK as a visitor or on business to have an ETA.
It’s your responsibility to apply before you travel. It can take up to 3 days to be issued.
