Do I need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA)?
The Electronic Travel Authorisation (known as an ETA) is required for some travellers who do not need a visa to enter the UK. You can visit GOV.UK to check whether this applies to you.
Since 2 April 2025, EU nationals travelling to the UK as a visitor or on business must have an ETA.
It’s your responsibility to apply for an ETA before you travel. It can take up to three days for an ETA to be issued.
