I’m travelling on a non-UK passport and have a UK immigration status, what do I need to do before I travel?
If you have UK immigration status:
This applies if you have a visa, EU Settlement Scheme status, or an expired biometric residence permit.
Before you travel to the UK:
- Access your electronic visa and check all your details are correct on the UK government's eVisa service.
- Keep your UK Visas and Immigration account up to date. Make sure your personal details and current passport information are correct to avoid delays.
EU Settlement Scheme holders: Check your details and link your valid passport to your UK Visas and Immigration account before travelling.
Got a new passport or ID card? Update your UK Visas and Immigration account straight away.
Important: From early 2026, you may be refused travel or experience delays at UK borders if you haven't linked your current travel documents to your account.
