Christmas time in Kenya is warm and toasty and in February and March temperatures soar above 30˚C. Spring and autumn months are much cooler. In July and August, temperatures hover at around 20˚C.

Passports & Visas

To enter Kenya, you’ll need a valid passport. You no longer need a visa to visit Kenya. All visitors are now required to apply online for an ETA (electronic travel authorisation) in advance of travel. Apply for your eTA to Kenya only on this Official Government website etakenya.go.ke. For a small fee, you can apply through our visa and travel authorisation partner – Sherpa. Health & Safety

You should take out comprehensive travel and medical insurance to cover you while you’re away. No jabs are compulsory for Kenya, but it’s a good idea to get medical advice at least three weeks before you go, as vaccinations for typhoid, yellow fever and Hepatitis A are recommended.
