Meet the Marella Cruises fleet

Get the inside scoop on the Marella Cruises fleet.
Our fleet packs in five first-class ships and each one’s fitted with everything you need while you’re sailing to your next port of call. Tuck into tasty dishes from the line-up of top-notch restaurants – special shoutout to Kora La – relax poolside with a new read or have a pampering session at a fully fitted spa, plus much more. Some of our ships also have a few one-of-a-kind features, too. Read on for the lowdown.

Marella Voyager

Marella Voyager – the newest member of our fleet – set sail for the first time in summer 2023. It’s got a selection of the best-loved bars and restaurants you’ll find on all our ships, with new spots in the mix. If you’ve cruised before with us, you’ll be pleased to hear you can still pop to the Squid and Anchor to watch live music with a drink after dinner, and Kora La – a pan-Asian eatery – still has a home here. The Silver Fork is one of the new highlights, and the menu’s full of British favourites with a modern twist. Think fancy chip-shop peas, and you’ll be on the right track. Like on all our ships, West End-style shows take place in the Broadway Show Lounge. Most shows are unique to Marella Voyager, so you’ll have a brand-new show to look forward to while you’re onboard – how cool is that?

Marella Discovery and Marella Discovery 2

Worried about your little one complaining they’re bored while you’re at sea? Forget it. Marella Discovery and Marella Discovery 2 come with lots of family-friendly facilities so you can holiday hassle-free. Both ships have a rock-climbing wall stretching right to the top of the ship. Warning: they’ll be talking about the views from up there for days. And that’s not all. Marella Discovery boasts an escape room for the whole family. The aim of the game? Complete a series of challenges before a notorious pirate catches you. And onboard all our ships, you can score some me-time thanks to our free kids’ clubs. M Club runs activities for kids between 3 and 11 years old, and there’s The Hideout for teens, too.

Marella Explorer and Marella Explorer 2

You can choose from 10 restaurants and bars onboard Marella Explorer and Marella Explorer 2. The Surf and Turf Steakhouse makes an appearance onboard both ships, where dishes like lobster and 28-day-aged steaks are on the menu. After dinner, you can listen to live music in the Squid and Anchor, watch a show at the Broadway Show Lounge or head for a night out at the casino. The big difference between the two ships? Marella Explorer 2 is just for adults. Make the most of your child-free sailing at Flutes, a Champagne and Prosecco bar. Take a seat, press a button and your drinks will be delivered to your table. If you ask us, it’s the perfect way to unwind in the evening after a busy day exploring.
