Best hotels in Ibiza

Our pick of the best hotels in Ibiza includes family-friendly properties, All Inclusive options near San Antonio and peaceful retreats in resorts like Es Cana and Cala Pada.
Ibiza is best-known as Spain’s party playground, and for good reason. San Antonio – on the Balearic Island’s west coast – lays on some of Europe’s biggest and best club nights in the summer months. Plus, the huge open bay here is one of the best places on the island to catch the sunset.

Head away from San An, though, and east-coast resorts like Es Cana and Cala Pada line up laidback yoga retreats, blissfully quiet beaches and sprawling hippie markets where the pace is about as far from all-night-rave as you can get.

We’ve picked out some of the best hotels in Ibiza, whether it’s party-hard or R&R you’re after.

Once you’ve decided where to stay, take a look at our Ibiza holidays.

Holiday Village Seaview Ibiza, Port des Torrent

Love waterparks? Then you’ll love Holiday Village Seaview Ibiza. This family-friendly hotel has its very own waterpark complete with scream-if-you-want-to-go-faster slides, a pirate-themed splash area and three pools. And, this being a Holiday Villages hotel, that’s just a taster of what’s on offer.

There’s a whole list of activities to try, from navigating the Aerial Adventure course to testing your archery and zorbing skills. Kids and teens are looked after at HV Clubs, and there are football, swimming and stage academies to sign them up to.

The hotel is All Inclusive, with four restaurants and three bars to its name – and things like professional shows and gameshows for after dinner. Plus, San Antonio Bay is a 10-minute drive away – so you can take your evenings up a notch whenever you fancy.

TUI BLUE Aura, Port des Torrent

Another great find in Port des Torres, TUI BLUE Aura also comes with free waterpark access – this time at the place just next door. And it’s only a few minutes’ walk from Port des Torrent’s sheltered sandy beach, or a 10-minute bus or taxi into San Antionio.

Our TUI BLUE collection is made up of hotels that combine best-in-class service, authentic local cuisine and activities to suit you. And TUI BLUE Aura comes with the Family Fun highlight – which means you can expect first-class kids’ clubs, quality evening shows and extras like character parades and group workout sessions for families.

All three of the hotel’s restaurants do family-friendly dining well, and there’s a children’s buffet at the main restaurant. It’s All Inclusive, so snacks at the pool bar and smoothies at the coffee shop are all part of the package. So is a splash-out meal at the Teppanyaki à la carte restaurant – you get one visit included while you’re here.

TUI BLUE Tarida Beach, Cala Tarida

Sticking to Ibiza’s west coast, Cala Tarida curls around a peaceful sandy bay. The beach is the big feature here – and, as the name suggests, TUI BLUE Tarida Beach really makes the most of the setting with a prime hillside spot that slopes down to the sand.

Another hotel in the TUI BLUE collection, this place comes with an impressive range of pools including adults-only swim spots and a splash park with tube slides for young kids. There’s also a retreat family pool for relaxing and an activity pool with things like water polo and water basketball. Fancy splashing out? Good news: you can also upgrade to a swim-up room.

Location is another big draw here, with pretty, whitewashed villages like San José within a 10-minute drive. And if you’re after something at the opposite end of the spectrum, Ibiza town’s nightlife scene is less than half an hour away by taxi.

TUI MAGIC LIFE Cala Pada, Cala Pada

On the opposite side of the island, TUI MAGIC LIFE Cala Pada is an easy contender for one of Ibiza’s best hotels if you’re planning an east-coast escape. It’s right by Cala Pada’s beach, wrapped in neat gardens and backed by leafy pine trees.

Sports and activities are a big deal here, and we’re talking everything from mountain biking to trampolining, with extras like pool parties for teens. At night, shows and discos take over at the amphitheatre and there’s a whole bunch of bars – including one that stays open 24 hours.

As for food, show-cooking, gala dinners and theme nights are on the cards at the big buffet place called Magico. And you get one visit to one of the à la carte restaurants included as part of your All Inclusive stay – pick from Spanish tapas at Bodega, or international street foods at Downtown.

TUI SUNEO Caribe, Es Cana

Another east-coast pick, TUI SUNEO Caribe is in the small but perfectly formed resort of Es Cana. It’s famous for its famous weekly hippie market, which brims with hundreds of stalls every Wednesday and is the biggest and oldest on Ibiza. It’s a 15-minute walk from the hotel, so well worth putting on your list if you’re staying here.

At base, things revolve around the big pool – a lagoon-style affair with loads of space for sunbathing and a poolside snack bar. There’s a splash park for kids, and the beach is only a two-minute walk away – with watersports centres, restaurants and seafront bars.

It’s an All Inclusive hotel, so you know meals and drinks are covered – and the big buffet restaurant lays on a mix of Spanish specialities and international spreads. Weekly party nights, kids’ mini-discos and shows wrap things up when it comes to entertainment.
