I experienced a flight delay on a TUI flight, am I entitled to compensation?
At TUI Airways, we're really proud of our reputation for our on-time departures. In the unlikely event that your flight is delayed, we would like to apologise for the inconvenience this has caused. We work tirelessly to ensure you have the best holiday experience and we understand that a delayed flight is frustrating.
Under some circumstances, depending on how long you were delayed and what has caused the delay, you may be entitled to claim compensation under the EC261 / 2004 legislation.
To make a claim for EC261 compensation please apply directly to us, by completing our online form.
For more information on your rights relating to flight delays, please visit the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) website.
Flights beginning with the Prefix BY/OR
If your flight number begins with BY or OR - for example BY123 or OR123- then your flight was operated by TUI. To make a claim for EC261 compensation please apply directly to us, by completing our online form. For all other flight numbers you will need to apply for EC261 compensation direct from the carrier.
