There’s also a choice of locations. You could opt to stay a few minutes’ walk away from the beach or book a hotel on the edge of town, where peace and quiet reigns supreme.

With seven kilometres of soft sands, calm waters and a neighbouring nature reserve, Alcudia Beach gets the family vote. An excellent line-up of beach cafés finishes off things with a flourish.

When it comes to daytrips from Alcudia, families are spoiled for choice. You could go horse-riding at Sunset Ranch, tour Alcudia old town by bike, explore the Roman ruins at Pollensa, or ride the Soller Train through the Tramuntana mountains.
