Family holidays to Spain
Spain’s beach resorts of Benidorm, Malaga and Torremolinos on the Costa Blanca are popular spots for family holidays.
Family-Friendly Activities
In addition to the Blue Flag beaches in the Costa Blanca — Benidorm can boast a Blue Flag trio of Levante, Poniente and Malpas — there are kid-friendly activities galore. Combine Terra Natura Wildlife Park with Terra Mitica, Benidorm’s biggest theme park. In Torremolinos, treat the kids to a day at a Crocodile Park, with more than 300 reptiles. Adults might be more interested in a 20-minute trip to Malaga, birthplace of Picasso. From here the Andalucian greats of Seville, Grenada and Ronda are just a two-hour drive away through the mountains.
Family Hotels
Most hotels in Costa Blanca will go all out to keep the kids entertained — think nightly shows with jugglers and magicians, pools jam-packed with waterslides, splash pools and kids’ clubs.
