Summer time in Macedonia has a Mediterranean feel, with lots of dry, sunny days. Temperatures peak around 30°C during June, July and August – and you can look forward to plenty of blue skies too, with around 10 hours of sunshine each day. If you prefer milder weather, go in May or September, when temperatures hover around 20-25°C. It’s a mountainous country, and things cool off after sunset, so whenever you go, you’ll want a warmer layer for the evenings.
