Best time to go to Budapest

Budapest’s weather varies depending on the season. Summer is the hottest and wettest time of year, with the mercury regularly topping 30°C. On the other side of the spectrum, the temperature can drop to zero during the dry, snowy winters. The city’s thermal baths are on hand for warming up, though. Despite this, many consider Budapest at its best in spring and autumn, when it’s not too cold or too hot, but dry and less crowded.
