A big welcome to our influencers

We pride ourselves on our accessible holidays, but don’t just take our word for it. We’ve teamed up with influencers from the disabled and neurodivergent community to form a group of Accessibility Ambassadors, and these content creators have got plenty to shout about when it comes to our accessible holidays. Let’s get to know them…

Introducing our Accessibility Ambassadors

Say hello to our brand-new Accessibility Ambassadors. In this short video, they tell you a bit about themselves and their holiday experiences.

Let’s get to know them...

Becky and Hannah Cheetham

Hannah and Becky Cheetham are sisters from Manchester who’ve been sharing their journey online and advocating for inclusivity for around 10 years. Hannah was born with Cerebral Palsy, and loves travelling the world with her younger sister, Becky.

We love... travelling together – to destinations like Majorca, Turkey and Florida.

Yasmin Johal

Yasmin Johal uses her platforms to advocate for neurodiversity and education. Both Yasmin and her son, Remy, are neurodivergent, and they've been on multiple TUI family holidays.

I love... Holiday Villages, where there are plenty of kid-friendly activities, quiet places to relax, and vegan food options.

Lucy Edwards

Lucy Edwards is an award-winning presenter, content creator and activist who has over 2.6 million followers. You’ll often see her with her guide dog, Molly, as she lost her sight 12 years ago. Lucy’s motto is ‘blind, not broken’ – this was even woven into the title of a book she wrote in 2024 that’s part-memoir and part-self-help guide.

I love... the different languages I can hear while travelling, and meeting new people with stories to share

Tola and Kevin Andu

Tola Andu documents life as a mum to her 20-year-old son, Kevin, changing the narrative that surrounds autism. She also founded her own non-profit organisation – TafAutismCare – providing educational support, early intervention services and advocacy for African children living with autism and their families.

We love... activities and excursions that bond us as a family, like island day trips with swimming.

The airport experience

We understand that checking in and finding your way around the airport can be a daunting part of any trip. Our ambassadors have put together some handy tips and insights into their own experiences, so you have a better idea about what to expect during your airport experience if you have accessibility needs.

Favourite hotel features

Want to know what our ambassadors loved most about their hotels? They’ve shared some of their favourite features with us...

Becky and Hannah. “The staff were so kind and friendly at our hotel – the TUI BLUE Sensatori Biomar in Majorca – and it was perfect for Hannah's mobility needs. Each pool had a chairlift, and we joined in with archery, family yoga sessions, and a gong sound bath. We loved them all – the staff were so passionate about their activities, and everything was made accessible and comfortable.” View Becky and Hannah’s hotel.

Yasmin. “We stayed at the Holiday Village Aliathon in Cyprus, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Remy went to the kids' club almost every day – there were lots of sessions, and the app states which ones are more relaxed and may be more suitable for kids with sensory needs, which felt really inclusive. Our family room was very spacious, too, which was perfect for us.”Discover Yasmin’s hotel.

Lucy. “We stayed at the TUI BLUE Sensatori Atlantica Aphrodite Hills in Cyrpus. My favourite thing was that I could call reception and they’d send a buggy to pick me up or guide me wherever I needed to go. They took me to the sports court for a game of padel, and I balanced out the activity with a trip to the spa. The staff were happy to help me get my buffet food, too, which was so helpful.” Take a look at Lucy’s hotel.

Tola and Kevin. “The TUI BLUE Aura in Ibiza was beautiful, and we loved the onsite sensory room – it was very relaxing, and a safe space for my autistic son. We joined in lots of activities, including football, yoga and a silent disco. The staff were amazing, including my son in everything and helping him feel at ease. The variety of food was great, too – we especially loved the Teppanyaki restaurant.”View Tola and Kevin’s hotel.
