Costa Blanca, Spain

Spain holidays will get every member of the family grinning, including those harder-to-please teens. If they’re after sandy beaches, Costa Blanca in the south won’t disappoint – it’s got an impressive 200 kilometres of coastline under its belt. Our pick that’s fit for teens? Playa de Levante in Benidorm – this lively Blue Flag beach has everything from jet skiing to kayaking. You’ve also got Aqualandia waterpark nearby, where teens and adults can zoom down flumes and slides, while Terra Mitica – a huge theme park – is only a 20-minute drive away.

Hurghada, Egypt

On the hunt for a teen-friendly escape? With giant pyramids and even bigger beaches, holidays to Egypt are sure to tick the teen-approval box. Head for Hurghada for swathes of soft white sands and a water sports agenda the whole family can enjoy. Plus, there’s a historical old town to explore, with a traditional Egyptian souk filled with souvenirs and trinkets. If you’re looking to keep the older kids entertained, TUI MAGIC LIFE Kalawy is a great choice – it’s got a pool with waterslides, a private beach and a coral reef right on its doorstep. Snorkelling sessions, anyone? Plus, there’s a Magic Teens Club with a range of sports and activities designed for 13 to 16-year-olds. Oh, and it’s All Inclusive 24/7, so they won’t need to ask for money every time they’re after a snack.

With thrilling adventures like Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge® and Pandora – The World of AVATAR, a getaway to Walt Disney World Resort is sure to keep everyone in the family happy. Plus, stay in a Disney Resort Hotel like Disney’s Beach Club Resort and you’ll be close to the action – so, there's no need for an extra early alarm in the morning. Fancy a day away from the parks? Say hello to Cocoa Beach along Florida’s Space Coast, where a 72-mile stretch of sand meets real-life rockets.
