A glimpse inside Epic Universe

Say hello to these five immersive new worlds. Here’s what to expect.
On 22nd May 2025, the Universal bubble got a whole lot bigger when three parks became four. Enter: Universal Epic Universe. You’ll wander through this new park’s glowing portals and be transported to immersive worlds like How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ – Ministry of Magic™. And with over 50 new experiences and attractions, expect interactive features around every corner. New rides and attractions aren’t the only additions in 2025. If you fancy the full Universal Epic Universe experience, there are three shiny new hotels to choose from, too – one of which is right at the entrance to the park.

Read on for a closer look at each land and hotel set to enter our orbit...

Once you’re ready, take a look at our best Universal Orlando Resort deals.

1. SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™

This land puts you inside your favourite video games, where power-up blocks are topped with spinning coins, and mushrooms float around by chunky castles. You can even get behind the wheel and play Mario Kart IRL on Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge. Watch out for banana peels!

2. How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk

Step into an ancient Viking village on the Isle of Berk and keep your eyes peeled for fire, because, as its name suggests, there are more than a few dragons lurking around in this place. There's a rollercoaster weaving through the land, and a boat battle where you can soak your opponents. Warning – you may need a poncho!

3. Celestial Park

It's all about the cosmic vibes at Celestial Park – think fountains darting about like shooting stars and twinkling lights at sundown. The two main attractions here are Stardust Racers – a dual-launch coaster that sends you hurtling through space – and Constellation Carousel, which is the park's whimsical centrepiece. Celestial Park is as dreamy as it sounds.

4. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ – Ministry of Magic™

There's already a piece of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ in both Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure, but this land puts an entirely different spin on things, taking you from the streets of Paris to inside the Ministry itself.

5. Dark Universe

Universal’s got a stellar reputation in the horror department – it's home to legendary characters like Dracula and Frankenstein’s Monster, after all. Dark Universe is a shadowy landscape where you can come face-to-face with these creatures, and ride two themed attractions that take you right through their spooky storylines.
