We think the best types of holidays for kids are the ones that are tailored to their likes and dislikes – whether they prefer practising handstands in the pool all day or getting crafty in the kids’ club. Children aged 7 to 12 often have big imaginations, bags of energy, and are passionate about their hobbies, so you’ll want to make sure there’s plenty for them to get stuck into, from kid-friendly facilities to a jam-packed activities programme.

What activities can kids aged 7 to 12 take part in?

There are loads of activities geared up for bigger kids at our TUI hotels. The exact schedule depends on the hotel, but you can typically expect a range of sports, water and craft-based activities, including fun games and challenges tailored to their age group.

Are there themed parties or discos?

Do TUI resorts have sports for kids?

Are there coaching or lessons for my child on holiday?

Can kids aged 7 to 12 take part in water sports?

Children are welcome to take part in supervised water sports and pool games as part of the activities programme tailored to their age group.

Are TUI KIDS’ CLUB staff background checked and trained?

Yes, all TUI KIDS’ CLUB staff are thoroughly background checked, English-speaking, and have UK-certified childcare requirements or equivalent. Plus, there’s always a Childcare Delivery Team Manager based near the hotel to support the team.

Can my child with special needs take part?

We’re working hard to improve accessibility at our kids’ clubs for children with special needs. We’ve installed sensory rooms at selected TUI BLUE hotels and provide communication cards to help children more easily express themselves to our trained staff.

We’ve also recently implemented up-to-date neurodiversity training for all our front-of-house staff, and are working to make all our childcare programmes neuro-inclusive.
