About the villa

Formerly called Finesse Villas, the Villas Olivera and Mediterranea are tucked away in the countryside. That said, Son Bou’s beach and town centre are less than a five-minute drive away.

Each villa has a garden pool with a built-in whirlpool bath. Best of all, you get unspoiled countryside views from here, which you can enjoy over lazy al fresco lunches under the covered terrace.

The villas showcase laid-back luxury. Roomy lounges star scarlet sofas and chunky wooden furniture, while the dining and kitchen areas see art prints accessorising ruby-red walls.

We are now giving you the option to choose your transport arrangements for your holiday. The per person price you see now is based on 'no transfer'. You have the option to select your transport arrangements on the customise holiday page, or alternatively, you can make your own arrangements and keep the 'no transfer' option. Please note, we recommend you hire a car for this holiday.

Dirty and poor maintenance

Advised on arrival we were being given a "free upgrade", I suspect our villa had been double booked. We were allocated Villas Finesse 14. It was filthy, poorly maintained and a health hazard, too many to go through in detail. The smoke alarm was missing, a live electrical socket hanging out of the wall, deep scratches, marks, stains and grime on the furniture, walls and kitchen appliances and trip hazards around the pool due to poorly fitted and maintained tiling, to name but a few. Not an understatement to say it ruined the holiday. This holiday was advertised as luxury with plush decor - this description was not what we experienced, at all, it was dirty, poorly maintained and very outdated. We obtained photographic evidence and complained. Within a week we received 20% of the booking price back, no quibbles, even though the tour company had not even seen the photographs as there were too many to send. This is a clear indication that this may not be the first complaint and/or they know the condition of it. The holiday cost us a small fortune, I've stayed in better Premier Inns. Also the complex is situated at the top of a very steep hill, car hire is essential, we could not leave the complex without using the car. Never, ever, again.

Cancelled at the last minute

3 days before we are due to fly and holiday is cancelled due to villa owners claiming it has been double booked by another tour operator. Imagine our surprise and stress to be called by TUI to inform us that we are unable to go on holiday due to the owners of the villa accepting a booking from someone else / some other tour operator. This disappointment comes far too close to the departure date for the villa owners not to have known this

Brilliant time

Myself, wife, daughter and her boyfriend have just got back from 7 wonderful days staying at No1 Villas Finesse. we really couldn't fault it, yes its on a steep hill but if people book this villa with out reading the description then complain i'm afraid thats their fault. we used to walk down, 15 min, every evening and for £7 got a local taxi back, job done. If you want to venture further a field then i would recommend a car but if you just want a very quiet holiday this is the place. No night clubs, no stag/hen parties. we had a couple of minor things that needed sorting out and with on phone call to reception they were done within a hour. to sum up, for a peaceful relaxing holiday then this is the place, if you want a beer fuelled early morning finish kind of holiday then this place isn't for you. lastly several great restaurants right by the sea so watching the sun go down was out of this world

When we booked our holiday we had a different villa booked but was told we can't go there now a month before we was due to fly, now we got put here and its not 2 levels and its right at the top of a windy hill along with a view of a road and its very dusty, not been cleaned properly and no shops in the area, been let down last 2 holidays from tui and wont be using them again. The villa is ok if it was closer to the beach.

Excellent spacious villa and pool. Very clean and well presented with good service throughout. Great location. The mattresses were extremely hard. Mattress toppers would be helpful. Although a welcome pack can be bought it would be useful if the basics were included like salt and pepper, olive oil, kitchen essentials, etc as supermarkets only sell oversized products which have to be thrown away after your stay. These simple low cost extras would have made for a five star rating. The villa was well kept and of a high standard and as described. The outdoor space was perfect with good furniture and a well maintained pool area. However there is no hot tub. There is an unheated Jacuzzi within the pool but no heating. As we had good warm weather we were able to use the pool third week of September. Would consider staying here again due to the high standards
