Our All Inclusive holidays to Puerto Rico plant you on Gran Canaria’s southwest coast, in a lively town that’s loaded with bars and beaches.
Has-it-all beaches
In true Canary Island fashion, the town of Puerto Rico – on Gran Canaria’s southwest coast – lines up a selection of handsome beaches for you to spread out on. The two town centre spots are the headliners – Amadores Beach and Puerto Rico Beach. The former’s bagged Blue Flag status and dishes up over 800 metres of shortbread-coloured sand for you to spread out on. Puerto Rico Beach is the more family friendly of the two, thanks to its nearby swimming pools and watersports centres.
Plenty of family fun
Speaking of families, there’s plenty to see and do if you’ve got little ones in tow. For starters, the Lago Taurito Water Park’s a 10-minute drive away from Puerto Rico. The oasis here’s the biggest saltwater pool in Gran Canaria, and it packs in a handful of waterslides. Elsewhere around Puerto Rico, you’ll find minigolf courses, arcades and sports centres.
After-dark entertainment
When it comes to nightlife, you’ll find most of Puerto Rico’s pubs, bars and discos centred around the three shopping centres. The largest of the lot is the Puerto Rico Shopping Centre, which offers up over 100 stores, as well as a selection of bass-pumping nightclubs.
Hotels in Puerto Rico
Puerto Rico’s flanked on both sides by steep ravine walls. Most of the town’s hotels are dug into these hillsides, including our selection of All Inclusive options. With that said, you can usually go from your hotel to the waterfront in about five minutes by taxi.
Book an All Inclusive holiday to Puerto Rico, and we’ll bundle your flights, hotels, main meals and local drinks into one great price.
