Nice but not clean
Hotel Revoli is in a great location which is close to the centre of Puerto Rico, the hotel itself is a nice hotel however the apartment we stayed in which was room 702 was not clean at all, put it this way we had to wear our flip flops whilst taking a shower, there were other people’s hair strands everywhere on the tiles on the headboards on the floor, the door handles were extremely dirty also, I ended up going to buy a disinfectant spray and cleaned down the fridge, the tables and the work surfaces in 702, I had dropped something down in between one of the beds and there was actually bird poop under the bed. Our room wasn’t cleaned while we were there however the maids came in to spread the bed and replaced towels once whilst we were there and we had to request a change of towels. Eating in the restaurant is ok but we ventured out to the city centre and ate breakfast there a few times which was well worth it plus you get a lot more variety. The only off putting thing about eating in the Revoli restaurant was that the pigeons are free to roam the restaurant which I think is unhygienic I personally think they need to invest in some sort of net to stop them from entering the restaurant area, beware if you are vegetarian as when we had breakfast there were some chips which were mixed with little bits of bacon but it stated that it was suitable for vegetarians on the food label I myself am a vegan. The only other issue is that you haveto pay for you own WiFi and tv channels when you stay at Hotel Revoli which again is off putting as we were able to get free WiFi on Amadores beach. And last but not least as majority of the restaurants in Gran Canaria are steak houses you should give VIP Pizza a try there food is absolutely amazing. More
You get what you pay for with this hotel.
Just returned from a week here from the 30th -7th. Overall ide say the revoli aparthotel is about average, rooms quite modern and very clean but my only grip is there not very well equiped. If you want any extras like tv,wifi or safe you have to pay for them. We paid for tv for 4 days and to be honest was a complete waste of time as the signal in the room was awful.after reporting this to reception and after 2 maintanace visits we still had no tv signal. It seems to me that the staff at the revoli don't seem to care, once they have your booking and your money in there account. No air conditioning in bedroom which made it very hot at night to sleep. If you want a room with any sort of view again this has to be paid for as an upgrade, rooms on lower terrace ground and level 2 look out onto a 15ft wall.Pool and pool area are clean but constantly found sunbeds with towels on,even though there's signs asking guests not to, once again this is ignored by staff and managment. Ide advise anyone not to purchase breakfast or evening meal at the hotel as it's much cheaper to eat out. You can get a really good breakfast only 5 minute walk away for 4 euros which includes tea and coffee.evening entertainment was quite good, but bingo twice a night got a bit boring when your there a week. There's happy hour at the bar 3 times a day which is well worth using, but please be warned drinks any other time are very exspensive and mostly local spirits. 15 mins walk downhill to beach and restaurants and it's much easier to get a taxi on return for a bargain 2 euros. Supermarket 5 mins away. Turn left out of hotel, and much cheaper than using rovoli shop. Overall we had a great holiday but didn't spend to much time at the hotel, so unfortunately ide say we wouldn't consider staying there again.More

Another quality stay at the Revoli
My 4th time at this hotel (sept/Oct 2017). It never fails in making my holiday a good one. Room was spacious (517) overlooking the pool, with a view of the sea too. Room was cleaned every 2 to 3 days, never a problem as i'm quite domesticated :) Whenever we had a issue, we spoke to Thomson or reception and the problems was sorted with no fuss. Nice sized pool for all ages and a baby pool too. This hotel accommodates for families, couples etc. Food was good, bar decent. Staff always pleasant, helpful, with one exception, the man on reception at nights. Mr grumpy bum as i called him. Definitely needs to work on his communication skills with his customers !! Still have a problems with towels on sunbeds, but i was always able to find one. Everywhere is within 10 minutes walking, unless your walking back after a few too many up the hill, then it's a problem, thou self inflicted !! Already looking to book again at this hotel for next year, always know i'll be looked after. You can't please everyone, but i'm one customer whose never been let down by the place and the people who work within it.More
