Best time to go to Poland

Poland’s size means the weather in different regions can vary greatly. But, in general, everywhere sees four distinct seasons. From May to September, the temperature sits somewhere between 20°C and 30°C, but it’s common to see a fair bit of rain, too.

Health & Safety

You should take out comprehensive travel and medical insurance to cover you while you’re away. It’s also a good idea to get a European Health Insurance Card – or EHIC – before leaving the UK. Though it’s not a substitute for travel insurance, it entitles you to emergency medical treatment on the same terms as Polish nationals. It won’t, however, cover you for medical repatriation, ongoing medical treatment or non-urgent treatment.
