Loved our stay at Ladania

Had a great time in cyprus staying at Ladania villa, coral bay. After reading the reviews was a little concerned but the last review helped us alot.
. 3 word app helped us get to the villa in the dark
. We took ant powder but we didnt have to use any, was abit cooler in sept
. We were given a Kia creed which we found was for 4 adults and lugguage.we had to pay extra for fully comp which was an extra 85 pounds and they do fill it up with petrol which was 75 pounds but we used the car every day and got
the most of our petrol
. Ladania villa did have a few twisty turns of the main road and was uneven so we had to take it slow and less people in the car was better often 3 of us would walk up the hill and wait for the car at the top.
. We heard the wild dogs just a few times didnt bother us.
. We were prepared to ask Tui for the code couple of days before we went, which we got and other details regarding aircon, bins and cleaning ond the pool.
. Pool man was friendly and kept the pool clean.
. Aircon was available first night we got there, main bedroom was abit noisey.
We loved the villa, recommend it, was clean, big, peaceful and close by the supermarket, resturants , beach and 20 mins from paphos. Pleased with the car loved the pool and enjoyed our stay.
Visited the gorge and last castle resturant - bbq.
Mosiacs in paphos and tombs of the king. Lots of eateries and shops in paphos. Dont do the castle at the end 2.50 euros just to see a view!
Had a fab boat ride to blue lagoon, we went to Latsi 50 mins, lovely journey seeing mountains, great 45 mins ride, 1hr swim snorkling if you like they provide the equipment, then back. Fruit and drink. 20 euros each. A nice smaller boat.
Lovely markets and if you want to see a traditional village they are 1hr plus from coral bay.
Lovely meal at onrio by the sea.
Great villa, great views, terrible car size offered and very expensive aircon - but loving it so far

Ok.. we are only about 15 hours into our holiday … but we’ve been nervous about the lack of reviews being posted in the last 10 months - so here’s the early feedback and things to know during your most stressful time (airport arrivals, car hire, villa, supermarket)
Upon leaving pathos passport control, get your luggage, go through the green section and directly opposite is Eurocar … who are Tui’s partner
You will be awarded a Kia Rio with the chance to upgrade to a Kia Ceed for an extra €250 euros - neither of which are big enough to legally fit luggage for 2 adults and 2 kids (80kg luggage)
You’ll then have to pay €85 for fuel … about €250 for a second driver and comprehensive insurance = ouch
To get to the villa use google or apple maps … but before you do (do it back in the U.K.) - download “what three words” app and type in blearily.observe.fostering and then click through to your desired live app such as google maps or apple maps. It takes about 30-40 mins on the wildest route ever - but it literally gets right to the door .. the other TUI villa is about 50 yards further on
TUI will have sent you the key safe code which is right next to the door (2 keys one for the villa and one for the annex)
Once inside pls insert you key fob into the right hand wall and this activates everything
V happy with the villa, layout, cleanliness, pool, patio, facilities etc
But I would suggest you bring ant powder with you and blast all around most of the building and in the kitchen discreetly (they are very small ants)
The big issue is that there in so aircon until the pool man arrives the next day … so not only did not of use sleep a wink in this heatwave … but it’s gone up even more it’s now €10 per unit per day (€240 euros for our 2 bedrooms) - ouch
We arrived at the villa about 12:30am (we flew from Birmingham airport)
However, once the aircon new mortgage has been paid - view from the pool area and indeed the pool area and villa - made us all feel so much better
The main supermarket is great - they literally sell everything but it is expensive but also great quality and all major brands
So feel free to ask any questions whilst we are here
Initial thoughts … terrible car choice offered (plan for unexpected extra costs) … plan not to sleep on the first night and then spend another wad of cash on the aircon having not slept a wink … spend a fortune at the supermarket - AND THEN… sit back, have a nap and chill at the amazing view and somehow it all seems worth it
14 days to go and looking forward to it

Tui in Dundee found us this delightful get away - but were left very much to fend for ourselves once we arrived in Cyprus - even their 24/7 when called did not get back to us until we got back home 14 days later. The eurocar people gave us details on how to get there which was great as getting in from UK at 1am in the morning we were tired and it was dark.
Road to villa is dark but if you take it slowly there are no surprises, it is signposted . On arrival at house the outisde lights were on and a q uick look at the rooms they looked clean as did the rest of the property.
The next morning we discovered the ensuite shower was over the bath and had no shower curtain (we later found it along with broken rail in garden, the second bedroom had use of a shower room off the hall and the shower tray was broken and flooded the room at every use, it also had lots of ants covering the shower room. The third bedroom which was in an annexe had a shower room which we all used during the holiday and it was fine . Just of pool area which came in handy during the day.
The house was clean and housekeeping came on the saturday to change sheets etc., house could do with a info booklet with details on when they were coming, bucker day, pool man etc., but we believe he came every second day very early. Pool area was kept very clean and not to much chlorine as an earlier visitor had said. There is a phone number to call and was answered immediately when we called about air conditioning and they came with in two house and gave us the keys.
The dogs that we had heard about on previous trip advisors were very far off and we believe contained further up the hill. We did have a visit from a local dog very friendly which we did not mind. there are gates to shut it you don't want canine visitors, wee lizards and ghekos come with the territory and are fascinating. Large spider terrified my Daughter and I have to admit he was huge, black and hairy but was easily removed to outside.
Only wish we could have a late departure as flights back to uk are at 1.05 am on monday mornings and we had to be out of villa for 10am the day before.
We chose to leave on the saturday and book into a Paphos hotel who gave us a late check out.
We've booked to go back again , but tui cannot promise us a late departure , so will see what happens.
WIFI is a not 100% , so not good if you have come intending to work . This is an excellent spot to chill.
Beautiful views, but dangerous road leading to it and very unclean

We have just spent a week at the villa. After a 6 hour delay at Manchester airport and delay at Paphos airport we didn’t arrive at our villa until almost midnight. Really upset us as we had a morning flight, so lost one of our days of holiday. We hadn’t been told about the key being used for the electric, and ended up back at the airport desperate as we were travelling with an 9 month old baby who because of sterilising bottles and the long delay and hold up once we got to Paphos airport, all shops had closed and we needed to get her bottles cleaned and get bottled water boiled to make them up. We were put into an emergency hotel at 4.30 the following morning and were able to sterilise bottles there. After a very stressful start to the holiday we were advised to go back to the villa and all was explained about the electric. (Emails I hadn’t received from TUI who blamed Hays for not sharing my email address with them) we headed up to the villa again. We found the villa dirty. Non of the bedding had been changed. Mattresses were heavily stained with body fluids and blood. There were toenails and hairs and stains on most of the sheets. There was tobacco on all the sofa cushions. Non off the bathrooms were clean. The dishes and cutlery and oven were filthy and all had to be cleaned. There was a sweet dog called Jaz who would come and visit most days. There were also a pack of wild dogs we could hear close by to the villa and made us quite nervous to be outside, especially when it got dark. The road leading to the villa is long and dangerous. People drive up and down it at stupid speeds and there isn’t always enough room for two vehicles and nothing at the side of the road to stop you going off it, just a huge drop, which also made it scary. The property was full of spiders and cobwebs everywhere and there was also a lizard in there. Some items were broke, like the blind in the master bedroom, couldn’t use it and a hand towel rail in the upstairs bedroom. The views however were amazing. Simply the best views. The pool was good and clean. There was dog poo lying around the back of the property. Overall the views were amazing. Close to everything you need. However, for the reasons I’ve given I wouldn’t pay to stop there again.
Secret Oasis Villa Yiasmin

We stayed at villa yiasmin in May 2022 attending a family wedding with Tui holidays.
We have been frequent travellers to Cyprus , visiting twice a yr for the past 20 yrs. this was our first trip with Tui. Never again will we travel with Tui, apart from the wedding day, our holiday was awful. No directions to get to the villa, only sat nav directions. We rang Tui before we left to ask for directions, the customer service was awful, she could not give us any answers and did not have direct contact with Tui in Cyprus. Good job we know Cyprus , we found out own way to the villa, to be met with an intense smell of cigarette smoke as we opened the front door and this smell continued throughout the villa. After opening windows and doors, and popping out for air freshener it did get better, but family members commented on the smell after a few days also. The villa was tired inside and out, it clearly needs updating to reflect the price of the holiday. Bathrooms ok , broken tiles but showers powerful. The pool looked clean although needed tlc , we did see the pool man once or twice. I had to bleach the kitchen sinks and worktops before use. There was a smell from the drain and it was clearly stained. Our main problem was the master bedroom mattress. We didn’t get one good nights sleep. There was no mattress cover, just a sheet. We could feel the springs sticking in throughout the night. I had bruises on my hips from them sticking in. For the last few nights we grabbed whatever winter blankets we could find in the villa to create something more comfortable to sleep on. We have stayed in a lot of Cyprus villas and this has been the worse by far.
As for the view, ok , looks across towards the sea but all you can see is two hillsides meeting. It was quiet and peaceful, but the problems in the villa outweigh this. We walked up to the dam, but it’s nothing like the other dams we have walked around, no nature trials. Food Shopping is good, restaurants near by and places to visit along the coast and into Paphos.
Not a good experience for us because of the villa, so will not be returning.
