Zadar has a Mediterranean climate, with hot, dry summers and mild, wet winters. From June to August, temperatures average around 30°C, perfect for beach days and outdoor adventures. Winters are cooler, with highs of around 11°C and there’s a little more rain, especially in November. The Bura wind – a powerful dry wind that blows across the Adriatic coast – occasionally sweeps through Zadar, bringing crisp, clear skies. October in particular offers sunny days around 21°C, making it a great time to explore the old town and stroll along the city’s coastal trails.
