Best time to go to True Blue
It’s all very tropical around these parts when it comes to the weather. Average temperatures year-round stick to the 30°C mark and rarely drop below 23°C. Summers are hot and often humid, while winters are balmy and lose the muggy feel. Having said that, the humidity levels are still high throughout the year, June to August tend to be higher, so it’s best to leave windows and balcony doors closed as much as possible to make the most of the air-con and reduce humidity levels in hotel rooms. And while we’re on the subject of hotels, you may find that some facilities, such as restaurants and bars, aren’t available from late April to May and from mid-August to mid-November, but there’ll be enough open so you can still enjoy your stay. Watch out for the wet season between June and December when rainstorms are common. The earliest months of the year are the best time to visit – you’ll score lots of sunshine and temperatures that are perfect for kicking back on the island’s wow-factor beaches.
