Holidays to Rodney Bay combine a serene tropical landscape with a mile-long beach and lively entertainment.
Scenic spot and entertainment hub
This horseshoe-shaped bay is tucked away in the north-west corner of the island. A pristine white-sand beach sweeps the length of its coast, surrounded by tropical rainforest and mountains soaring out of the sea. In the middle, there’s a man-made lagoon and modern marina full of shops, bars and upmarket restaurants. You’ve got both stunning tropical scenery and an exciting entertainment hub here.
Life’s a beach
Reduit Beach is one of St Lucia’s best, and there’s a mile-long stretch of it to relax on. If you’re keen to get active, there’s loads of watersports and activities to try, including banana boats, sailing and an inflatable splash park. The beach is lined with bars, seafront restaurants and street vendors where you can sample the local cuisine.
Famous neighbours
From Rodney Bay, you’ve got easy access to Gros Islet town and Pigeon Island National Park. Gros Islet is where the island’s biggest street party is held every Friday, while Pigeon Island National Park is home to nature trails, private white-sand beaches and crumbling ruins steeped in history.
