Point Salines holidays are all about taking things slow and steady. You've got a platter of pristine beaches to kick back on, and Grenada's friendly capital, St George's, is within easy daytripping distance.
You’ll find the town of Point Salines nestled near Grenada’s southern-most tip. It’s a short drive from the island’s international airport, so getting to and from your hotel in the town centre – or on the sand-swept waterfront – is a doddle. Speaking of coastlines, this patch of Grenada’s stocked with a handful of five-star swathes. All of them sport sugar-fine sand that gradually sinks into the turquoise-tinted waters of the Caribbean Sea. Lots, like Morne Rouge Beach, come with a selection of beachside eateries, too, where you can try the island’s national dish, oil down. This spicy stew’s made with salted meats, dumplings and breadfruit – a starchy fruit that tastes like potatoes.
