Best time to go to Punta Cana
Punta Cana has a tropical climate and temperatures vary very little throughout the year – monthly averages range from 25˚C and 28˚C. The region experiences two distinct seasons – dry and wet. The wet season runs between May and November, and the air turns very humid and there are regular brief but heavy showers.
Just so you know, from time to time, some hotel beaches in the Dominican Republic are affected by an increased level of seaweed. This is known as Sargassum, which is a natural occurrence that’s influenced by weather patterns and sea currents. In some cases this can disrupt the use of beaches. Rest assured that if any of our hotels are affected by this issue, they will work hard to remove the seaweed as quickly as possible.
