You’ll have plenty of options when it comes to filling your time onboard, thanks to our huge entertainment line-up. And don’t just take our word for it – we were named Best for Entertainment in the 2021 and 2024 Wave Awards. From quizzes and casinos to live music and West End-style shows, there’s something for everyone – and you can get involved with as much or as little as you like. Check out our six fun things to do on a cruise and take a look below of a snapshot of what we’ve got to offer…
What to expect
West End-style shows
All of our ships come with a plush, theatre-like show lounge. Each night brings a new performance, with up to 12 all-singing all-dancing theatre shows and two guest acts on a 14-night cruise, or six theatre shows and one guest act on a seven-night sailing.
Late-night dancing
There’s a dedicated place to party on each of our ships. You can kick off your night with some low-key live music, followed up by toe-tapping tunes from our resident band. Later on, you’re free to show off your best dance moves at the onboard nightclub.
Laidback live music
If you fancy a laidback evening, look out for our acoustic musicians and cabaret acts. They’ll provide the soundtrack to your night while you sip your favourite cocktails from the bar.
Games and quizzes
You can put your general knowledge to the test during one of our pub quizzes at Squid & Anchor. There are interactive game shows, too, if you fancy something different. Or, dance with Lady Luck at our onboard casino.
Daytime entertainment
Catch a cookery demo with one of the ship’s head chefs, or practice your own culinary skills at one of our kitchen classes. Cocktail-making demos, gin-tasting and wine-tasting sessions, dance classes and arts and crafts also star on the agenda.
Fitness and sports
Our ships with sports decks lay on table tennis and shuffleboard, and you can stretch and bend your way through a morning fitness session. Every ship’s got a minigolf course, too. Or, master your best moves at one of our dance classes. Read our Discover article on how to stay in ship-shape on a Marella cruise.
