Holiday Village Red Sea, Egypt

If you’re after a hotel with plenty happening, Egypt’s Holiday Village Red Sea fits the bill. HV Clubs keep kids busy with themed games like Superhero Academy and Crazy Crafts, while teens can hang out at The Zone and get involved in the likes of TikTok classes. Little ones aren’t left out either, thanks to parent-and-toddler sessions. If the clan likes to dial things up a notch, there’s an Aerial Adventure course where they can climb, balance and swing their way around. Plus, you can pay a little extra for professionally-run football, swimming or stage academies, too. When it’s time to slow down, the sandy beach is right there, or if you’d rather keep the momentum going, you’ve got the aqua park across the road, packed with slides, chutes and a lazy river.

TUI BLUE Sensatori Akra Fethiye, Turkey

Families are well looked after at TUI BLUE Sensatori Akra Fethiye in Turkey. The Kids’ Club runs six days a week, with activities like Silly Science and Water Mania, plus plenty of chances to make new holiday friends while teens get activities of their own, too – hello, mocktail-making sessions. Plus, there’s the Baby & Tots Club* for under threes. Elsewhere, the hotel really leans into the whole treat-yourself vibe, with a 24-hour All Inclusive set-up that keeps food and drinks flowing around the clock. Days here tend to revolve around the pools, including one with slides, or if you fancy a break from sunbathing, you can try your hand at tennis, volleyball and water polo. When the sun goes down, more entertainment kicks in – think live music, local shows and the occasional silent disco thrown in for good measure.

TUI MAGIC LIFE Africana, Tunisia

For families that like a bit of everything, TUI MAGIC LIFE Africana in Tunisia is a solid shout. It’s right on the beachfront, so sea swims are always on the cards, and when the kids fancy a change of scene there are eight pools waiting back at base, including one with a few waterslides. The hotel-run kids’ club keeps little ones busy with dress-up days, sports days and more, while older kids can dive into the activity line-up – the likes of shuffleboard competitions, football matches and archery are all on the agenda. When it’s time to refuel, the All Inclusive spread covers everything from big buffet meals to snacks, ice-cream and selected drinks around the clock.

TUI BLUE Atlantica Aegean Park, Greece

Got kids who treat waterparks like their natural habitat? TUI BLUE Atlantica Aegean Park in Kolymbia should go down well. The waterpark is the headline act, with a tangle of slides and pools that keep the energy levels high from morning till late afternoon. When the mood shifts to saltwater, Kolymbia’s pebbly beach is around a five-minute walk away – ideal for a quick sea dip before heading back for another round on the slides. Kids aged three to 12 can join the Kids’ Club – hosting themed sessions like Superheroes, Safari and Into the Nature – while teens have activities tailored to them and under threes have the Baby & Tots Club* – that's a win for everyone. Plus, there’s a bus stop right outside, so hopping on to explore the centre of town is easy when you fancy a change from poolside life.

TUI BLUE Tropical, Turkey

Days at the TUI BLUE Tropical tend to revolve around two things – the beach and the pools. The hotel sits right by Sarigerme’s long stretch of sand, so sea swims and sandy strolls are always on the agenda. Back at base, there’s a whole load of pools to dip into, including three just for kids and a lagoon-style number with a couple of twisting slides. The Kids’ Club for ages three to 12 – alongside the Baby & Tots Club* for under threes and a whole range of activities for teens – gives adults some quiet time to relax, while the day’s activities roll into evening shows once the sun goes down. When things feel a little busy, the free-to-use sensory room offers a quieter retreat – soft lighting, bubble tubes and tactile objects help to provide a calming space. And with everything wrapped into the All Inclusive set-up, food, drinks and easy-going holiday routines come as standard.

Porto Bello Beach, Greece

Twisting slides, a lazy river and a huge main pool for cooling off in between – Porto Bello Beach in Kos packs plenty into its pool scene. The hotel sits by Helona Beach, so a quick dip in the Aegean is always an option, too. Away from the water, the days fill out with sports and activities, including kids’ club sessions for ages four to 12. The All Inclusive set-up keeps things simple on the food and drink front, with four restaurants dishing up traditional Greek classics, Italian staples like pizza and pasta, plus a big buffet of international faves. Come evening, an al fresco amphitheatre sets the stage for after-dark shows, while little ones get their own mini-disco.

SplashWorld AQI Venus Beach, Tunisia

At SplashWorld AQI Venus Beach in Hammamet, the clue’s in the name – the waterpark is the star of the show. The slide line-up includes racing lanes for head-to-head showdowns and twisty corkscrews. Little ones get their own corner of the action, too – a splash park centred around a turreted castle, complete with mini slides and mushroom fountains. Days tend to bounce between the waterpark, the hotel-run kids’ club and a line-up of sports and activities like beach volleyball, mini-football and more. The All Inclusive set-up keeps food and drinks flowing without much planning needed, plus, the hotel’s postcode sets you footsteps from a golden-sand beach.
