TUI BLUE Olhuveli Romance

This adults-only resort in South Male Atoll is all about barefoot luxury and romantic vibes. The villas here are worth shouting about – some perch over the water, others steps from the beach and all come with Insta-worthy private pools. When it comes to dining, three restaurants and two bars keep things interesting, including the Culinarium, which sits on a jetty and is included in your All Inclusive package once a week. The house reef is perfect for snorkelling, and if you fancy trying something new, there's a line-up of watersports like kayaking and paddleboarding that you’ll get one hour free daily as part of your package.

ROBINSON MALDIVES

Set on the Gaafu-Alif-Atoll, and fringed by white sand and coral reef, ROBINSON MALDIVES is an adults-only escape that's big on peace and quiet. You’ve got a choice of beachfront bungalows, tropical garden-view villas or over-the-water villas with private pools – made for lazy mornings and coffee with a view. The food scene here’s top notch – the buffet restaurant sits just metres from the sea and comes with a BalAyur station serving things like freshly-caught seafood. There’s plenty to fill your days, too, from fitness classes and live music to watersports like sailing, waterskiing and stand-up paddleboarding that you can pay a little extra for.

ROBINSON NOONU

The island adventure at ROBINSON NOONU starts the moment you hop on the speedboat transfer to the resort. Set on the tiny island of Orivaru in Noonu Atoll, this place lines up spacious villas, overwater bungalows and family-friendly fun. The food's a highlight, with two restaurants serving up international dishes and al fresco dining with ocean views, plus a teppanyaki place you can pay a little extra to dine in. Riu Atoll

Riu Atoll’s the kind of place where shoes become optional quickly. Set on the private island of Maafushi, it lines up overwater suites above a shallow turquoise lagoon, with powder-soft sand just steps away. Days here revolve around the big pool and swim-up bar, the paddleboarding sessions and deciding which of the three restaurants to try next, while little ones are kept busy with the RiuLand kids’ club and their own pool. And with 24-hour All Inclusive on the cards, late-night snacks, cocktails and regularly restocked minibars are all part of the deal.
