Leave the buzz of Cancun behind in and surround yourself with natural beauty. The Sian Ka’an excursion takes you to Sian Ka’an, known by ancient Mayan people as ‘Where the Sky Begins’. It’s not hard to see how it got this nickname – the area definitely has something heavenly about it. You’ll discover thick mangroves, colourful reefs and ancient archaeological sites. Visit the pocket-sized fishing village of Punta Allen and zip across the waves in a boat with local fisherman. Book yourself a bike tour using Pikala, and cycle around Marrakech on your own or with a local guide, discovering parts of the city like the famous Jemaa el-Fna square and beyond. As well as burning calories en route, you can feel good about helping young Moroccans. Pikala's trained 90 young men and women in bike guiding, maintenance and management with the support of the TUI Care Foundation. It doesn’t only give these teens jobs, it also helps them develop transferable skills to build their future careers. This training is invaluable in a country where there’s a high youth unemployment rate, and only 15% of first-grade students graduate from high school.
