Best hotels in Antalya

From Manavgat to Side, the Antalya area of Turkey offers an impressive list of must-visit hotels. Here are some of the best.
Antalya has made a name for itself as one of the best places to stay in Turkey, and it’s easy to see why. This area of the country’s south coast is home to some of Turkey’s most upmarket holiday resorts, to the point that it’s been nicknamed the Turkish Riviera.

Spots like Side, Belek and Lara Beach line up yacht-filled marinas, glitzy boutiques and luxury hotels – all flanked by white-gold beaches and turquoise waters that wouldn’t look out of place in the Caribbean.

If you’re planning a trip, we’ve cherry-picked some of the best hotels in Antalya to help you hone your shortlist.

And once you’re ready to go, you can browse our Antalya deals.

TUI BLUE Sensatori Akra Sorgun, Side

If you want to be seriously well looked after in Antalya, TUI BLUE Sensatori Akra Sorgun should be on your list. All our Sensatori by TUI BLUE resorts are designed for indulgent experiences, and this place pulls out all the stops.

For starters, the hotel is split into adults-only and family zones, and you get a choice of state-of-the-art rooms in both areas – including luxurious swim-ups. There’s a big main pool, an activity pool that hosts things like aqua aerobics, a relax pool just for grown-ups and a splash pool for kids. Head indoors to the spa and you’ll find yet another pool plus a sauna, Turkish bath and reams of pampering treatments.

Food-wise, you get 24-hour All Inclusive service including a splash-out dinner at three à la cartes. And the location – a beachfront spot backed by forests – puts you just a 15-minute dolmus ride from the shops, restaurants and bars of Side town.

TUI MAGIC LIFE Masmavi, Belek

Further west along the coast of Antalya, Belek is one of the Turquoise Coast’s glitziest resorts and it’s home to a string of five-star hotels including TUI MAGIC LIFE Masmavi. Another 24-hour All Inclusive spot, this is the place to be if you want to be spoilt for choice – and by that we mean everything from the dining scene to the activity schedule.

There are no less than nine main outdoor pools plus an aqua park with seven waterslides, including a multi-lane racer and a couple of tube slides. The sports programme features everything from beach volleyball and tennis to aqua gym and archery, and there are discos, beach parties and stage shows put on in the amphitheatre at night.

Kids’ clubs are part of the package and there’s a beach just outside, so all the holiday essentials are covered in one has-it-all hotel. Plus, this place has no less than 10 impressive golf clubs right on the doorstep, so it’s a great option for a golf holiday.

TUI BLUE Palm Garden, Manavgat

If you’re keen to see some of Antalya’s best bits while you’re in Turkey, TUI BLUE Palm Garden puts you in a prime spot. It’s right by the beach, and only a 20-minute drive from the inland city of Manavgat. Visitors come here for the picturesque combination of a winding river, crashing waterfalls and the majestic Taurus Mountains – so it’s well worth exploring. Side’s ancient ruins are an easy drive from here, too.

At the hotel, a big pool with waterslides, four bars and three restaurants are the talking points – and this place scores highly with guests for its food. As well as a showstopper of a buffet, there’s an à la carte – Levante – where you can dine on a four-course menu inspired by local dishes. You get one visit included as part of your stay.

There’s a full daytime programme of games and activities at our TUI BLUE hotels, and things like aqua discos and cooking classes to have a go at. And the kids’ clubs cater to ages all the way from pre-schoolers to teens during the main season.

And there’s plenty more for children thanks to a hotel-run kids’ club, teen club and mini-discos.

Dining’s well covered at the buffet restaurant – it’s got an al fresco section overlooking the pool, and lays on theme nights, carvery stations and barbecues on the terrace. There’s also a snack bar for light bites in the day, and three à la cartes serving Italian, Asian and Turkish food.

Activities-wise, beach volleyball and water polo are on the list alongside archery and tennis, plus you’ve got family shows after dark. This place also has its own shopping mall, with clothes and accessories stores, so you can have a little holiday spree without even leaving the hotel.
